I am currently Professor of Economics and Public Administration at DGUV University, Bad Hersfeld (Germany). I am also affiliated with the economics department of Brandenburg University of Technology (Cottbus, Germany) as a reader (Privatdozent). My research combines topics from political economics, public economics, and law and economics, focusing on questions regarding the relationship between inequality and institutions, (political) contests, and international negotiations. I also work on political economy topics related to the climate-neutral transformation of mobility, especially aviation.
