Current Teaching & Supervision
At DGUV University, I currently teach the following courses:
- Economics of Social Insurance (Bachelor level; Principles of Economics/Business Administration)
- Public Administration in Economic and Societal Perspective (Master level; including Managerial Public Administration and Intermediate Economics)
- Management of Organizations (Master level)
In addition to teaching, I supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses. Topics cover the full range of economics, including organizational theory, finance, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and public economics/finance. I also support interdisciplinary theses. As a modern behavioral science, economics offers fresh perspectives and insights, for example, in Political Economics (the economic analysis of politics and administration) or Law & Economics (the economic analysis of legal systems). I am also interested in supervising theses related to Behavioral Economics, which may provide innovative views on the effectiveness of preventive measures.
